Kim Preston, Broker «»
|
Hi, my name is Kim Preston and I am a local real estate professional. I was born here in Jackson County and have made my
home here for the past 40+ years (can't be too specific here). I have hiked to the top of the county's highest peak, gone tubing in the county's coldest creek and picnicked in the county's most sought after spot. My real estate career is very important to me, coming in only third after God and my family - my husband David and my three beautiful daughters who each manage to be the light of my life. My career is something I take very seriously having now been working in it for twenty years.
I approach my business in a unique way where I see the person first and the client second. It's rare when a transaction is finished to never hear from that client again. Once I work with someone, they become a client for life, and in most cases a friend for life. I believe it is profoundly meaningful to be able to build a client base on the recommendations of those you have already done business with. Repeat clients make up more than 90% of my business.
I understand that buying and selling real estate is often one of the most important financial decisions made in a person's life. That is why I will provide you with the confident, competent and calm guidance you will need to make this experience a positive and rewarding one. My dedication and professionalism are delivered 100% of the time. |

Mark Ballinger, Real Estate Broker «»
|
Hi, I'm Mark Ballinger. Unlike Kim and Mike, I am not a native of Jackson County, but originally from the Sunshine State. My
wife, Sandy and I have loved North Carolina for a long time, and we moved here permanently 10 years ago. Our roots have become very deep since then, and we will never go back. Jackson County feels more like home than any place we've ever been. We are "empty nesters", with our son, Ed, daughter-in-law Joanna, and grandson Everett living in Chicago.
My disciplined Catholic upbringing and values, and being a member of the 60's generation have given me two areas from which to draw for guidance in my business practices - first for many years in the insurance industry, and the last three and a half years in real estate. I have always tried to put the feelings and goals of my friends and clients above my own, and I have never been afraid to challenge the establishment or status quo. I always try to look for a better way to do just about anything, which would include buying or selling a home.
Sandy and I love to challenge many of the hiking trails in these mountains, and in my "spare" time, I like to play a little golf, build custom furniture, or prepare gourmet meals for friends and family.
I would love to help you find your dream home, or vacation getaway. |

Mike Potts, Real Estate Broker «»
|
Hello My name is Mike Potts. I am a native of Jackson County NC. I consider myself a lucky man to be surrounded by three beautiful
women, my wife Lisa and my two daughters Amy and Ali. I have served our country as a Marine and I retired three years ago from he United States Postal Service after thirty years. Like Kim, I try to maintain my focus upon God, believing that if I do, all other things will fall into place. I am a member of Lighthouse Baptist church, where I teach a Sunday School class. I've come to realize that Real Estate Law and God's law are pretty much them same. Fairness and truthfulness to all involved. I try to conduct business that way. |
